CommGate started operations in 2005 after the founders of the company identify that the majority of small businesses (5 to 99 employees) in Asia have the same IT challenges with regards to network security, communication systems, workforce collaboration and IT management.

Most business owners that we have spoken to shared with us that IT solutions are expensive, complex to implement and manage and often did not meet their business requirements.

With the vision of providing all-in-one “technology-leverage” solutions to small-medium businesses, CommGate has partnered with several technology vendors to customize an All-in-One network server software that is affordable, quick to implement, easy to manage and does not require IT staff to administer.

The first product version was designed in consultation with small-medium businesses on what are the areas of concerned, what needs to be included and what are the benefits it should provide to the business.

Subsequently, the product was extended to provide the ability for small-medium businesses to deploy websites, web applications and other database-driven business applications.

Today, the CommGate products are used by nearly 1,000 small-medium businesses in Asia and soon, will be available through Internet Service Providers and telecommunication companies as a subscription service.
